Some might say that a clean home is a happy home. Others are at peace with a little organized chaos.
Some might love a home filled with neutrals, while others feel happiest with bright pink walls (*cough* guilty *cough*).
The truth is, there is no magic formula for what makes your home happy. It’s all about adding elements that bring you joy and reduce stress.
But, even though a happy home is in the eye of the beholder, I do have some tips every woman can use to design her own joy-filled space.
Time to fire up those Pinterest boards! There is a ton of interior design inspiration on Pinterest to get you started. Whether you’re looking for tips to open up a small space, or trying to find that perfect shade of bright pink, you can find it here and pin it for later.
Is your home a prime relaxation spot for cozy nights in, or the go-to place for a boozy girls brunch? Figure out what kind of entertaining you will be doing the most, and plan your furniture and decor accordingly.
Embrace Your Inner Designer
There are many tools out there to help you visualize your happy home space before you even step foot into a home store, complete with styles and color palettes. You can learn professional programs like Photoshop or user-friendly platforms like Canva to design a virtual home space.
At the end of the day, it’s all about enjoying the process of making your home a place where you feel at peace.

Raise your hand if you love Tory Burch.
Ok, now that all our hands are raised, I want to share this amazing how-to I found while paging through the latest issue of Glamour:
Throwing a party? Tory Burch has you covered.
Who wouldn’t want to throw a party like Tory Burch? If you love her chic style as much as I do, than you’re going to die at how easy her party-planning tips are. She even admits that she’s not a big foodie, and likes to keep her menu simple. That’s my kind of party!
So, in light of this wonderful advice from Tory herself, I have a challenge for you ladies. It’s time to put on your party planning hat and gather your favorite people for a little (or big) get-together.
After you give the Glamour article a read, you’ll be ready and inspired to accept, I promise.
Create an out-of-the-box guest list. Mix work friends with family members. Be like Tory and embrace age gaps!
Create a brand new playlist. Give your tired Spotify list a break and make a mix that no one will see coming, but can’t resist grooving to!
Design an avant-garde center piece for the table. You don’t have to ditch your favorite flowers completely, but keep those for other places in the room. Time to get creative! (Hint: see the pin below).
Simple food, intricate presentation. Break out your favorite glassware and serving platters, and save time with simple, delicious crowd-pleasers.
If you’re anything like me, you feel confident, beautiful and straight up loved when you gather friends and family to your home for any kind of event. That’s why I had to challenge you all to think differently with your next shindig!
Who’s ready to party like Tory Burch? Don’t forget your flats.
Here’s to dancing the night away!
Hey gorgeous! I’m so glad you stopped by. Take a moment to soak up the goodness we’ve gathered. It’s all here to help you live the life of your dreams.
