Find Opportunities That Catapult You
Opportunities: they’re everywhere.
No matter your goal, whether it be becoming “Super Mom” or climbing the corporate ladder, we’re surrounded by ways to make our dreams a reality.
It just takes a little clarity and practice to recognize which opportunities are right for you.
I mean the ones that energize and inspire you, providing a road to your goal...full of learning and growth. NOT the ones that lead to more stress and questions like, “why did I even want this in the first place?”
If you’ve ever second guessed or completely changed a goal or dream, you know what I’m talking about.
So, how can you get this clarity and practice seizing opportunities that work for you?
While doing some research, I found a lot of advice about recognizing career opportunities. But, the best part is, it’s totally universal. You can apply it to anything.
Here are some of my conclusions that you might find helpful:
- Nothing is perfect. Don’t sit around for the “perfect” opportunity. Newsflash, it doesn’t exist.
- Use what you have at your disposal. Knowing your strengths and the tools at hand can make it easier to know if you can realistically handle a challenge that comes your way.
- Timing is everything. When something is meant for you, it means the timing is right. For most opportunities, you need to be in the right place in your life, career or relationship to take them on and succeed.
Opportunity is knocking. The question is, will you open the door, or wait for the next one?
