Deal Breakers For The Modern Woman
What have you learned to say NO to over the years? Whether it’s a fair-weather friend or a slacking coworker, you figure life's just too short to deal with it.
I call these the modern woman’s deal breakers.
It gets to a certain point when you have to stop and ask, “is this worth my time?”
When you’re working on filling your life with more love, compassion and joy, you just don’t have time to overextend yourself with things that drain you
Ladies, it’s good to set boundaries in your life. You don’t have to feel guilty about focusing on things that inspire you instead of those that make you feel stressed out of your mind.
Who needs that?
This is especially true when it comes to relationships, romantic and platonic. But, for simplicity’s sake, let’s focus on the former.
I came across an article I wanted to share with you. It’s all about dating deal breakers.
As always, I’ll break it down for you into bite-sized tips you can apply to your life today. Are any of these deal breakers on your own list?
- This or that. Ultimatums are a deal breaker! If someone uses a breakup as a bargaining chip… show them the door.
- No thank you. As a lover of gracious living yourself, lack of gratitude should be a major turn off.
- The blame game. Taking responsibility for your actions, good or bad, is a sign of maturity. If this is a missing piece, it should be a deal breaker.
Remember: you don’t have to accept anything less that what you deserve. And you deserve the best.
