Career Tips From Modern Mentors
We all need a little help sometimes!
And sometimes the best career advice I find is in the form of a quote from one of my favorite famous ladies.
Do you ever scroll through Pinterest and feel yourself more inspired to OWN your career than ever before?
I thought it would be fun to introduce you to some of my favorite modern mentors, with quotes that will inspire you to get things done.
Hazel Hira Ozbek’s advice: Sometimes a mindset change is all you need to take your career to the next level.
Amy Poehler’s advice: Your surroundings, including the team you work with, are an important catalyst for your creativity. Make sure they drive you.
Sophia Amoruso advice: Concentrate on YOUR hustle, and don’t worry about anyone else’s “perfect” life or career. And always remember, comparison is one of the biggest motivation killers out there!
Carrie Green’s advice: Your mind is a powerful thing. You can train yourself to think in a way that leads to success and happiness, in work AND life! You just need to practice.
Tina Fey’s advice: Sometimes (most of the time) we have to do things before we think we're ready. How will we ever learn if we don't dare to go outside our comfort zone?
Now you know some of my favorite modern mentors. You're welcome!
From actresses to businesswomen, they've all had experiences working, learning and growing just like us.
