Brunch 101: The Mimosa Bar

Who doesn’t love a good brunch? I live for Sunday mornings full of egg whites, carving stations, and most importantly, mimosas!

Every now and then I like to stay in my pajamas a bit longer and host a little brunch at my place. There’s nothing better than gathering a few of my closest friends for a delicious spread and great conversation while the mimosas flow. Plus, it gives me a chance to flex my party planning muscles.

That’s why I have to share this pin I found for some seriously gorgeous mimosa bar inspiration.

Take your pick! From a tried and true traditional recipe to a fun and flirty pink moscato mix, there is a Sunday morning cocktail to fit any friend’s fancy.

Here are some tips to create your very own Happy Grace mimosa bar at your next brunch!

  • The Juice

  • Start simple! What juices will you offer your besties? To keep your mimosa both beautiful and delicious, grab a selection that ranges in taste and color. My favorites are orange, cran-raspberry and grapefruit.

  • The Fruit

  • Get the garnishes going! Pick out some fruit that complements your mimosa mixes. Fill glass bowls to the brim with your favorite fresh fruit for a beautiful and colorful centerpiece.

  • The Accessories

  • Once you have your ingredients set up, it’s time to accessorize. Some staples I love are striped straws and fresh flowers; all to go with the colors of my juices, of course!

So, whether you’re throwing your brunch for a bridal party, birthday or simply just for the heck of it, you can’t go wrong with a beautiful mimosa bar.

    Cheers!
